Project Overview:
I was invited by the Entrepreneurship Cell at IIT Madras to serve as an expert mentor at E-Summit 2026, the institute’s flagship entrepreneurship forum. As part of the Expert Edge program, I worked 1:1 with early & mid -stage founders to help them navigate critical growth challenges across go-to-market strategy, product-market fit, and scaling decisions.
The engagement focused on translating founder vision into actionable growth plans, pressure-testing GTM assumptions, and providing practical guidance rooted in real-world execution. Through these mentorship sessions, founders received tailored insights to make informed decisions, build stronger fundamentals, and accelerate their startup journeys within a high-impact, innovation-driven ecosystem.
Engagement Objectives
- Founder Decision Clarity – Help early-stage founders navigate GTM, PMF, and scaling trade-offs with confidence.
- Practical Growth Guidance – Translate strategy into actionable steps across sales, product, and market entry.
- Startup Readiness for Scale – Prepare teams for investor conversations, customer traction, and sustainable growth.
Key Contributions
- One-on-One Mentorship – Guided founders through GTM, PMF, and early scaling challenges.
- Growth Strategy Reviews – Evaluated acquisition plans, positioning, and revenue assumptions.
- Execution Playbooks – Shared practical frameworks for sales motion, customer discovery, and prioritization.
- Founder Decision Support – Helped teams make informed trade-offs across product, market, and growth paths.
Every startup has a unique journey. I worked closely with participating founders to ensure their growth decisions were grounded in clarity, execution reality, and long-term value creation.
Project Outcomes
The mentorship engagement focused on clarity, actionability, and founder confidence. Each session was designed to help startups cut through ambiguity and move forward with well-reasoned growth decisions.
- Strategic Direction – Helped founders map GTM priorities, PMF risks, and near-term execution paths.
- Practical Decision Frameworks – Enabled structured thinking across sales, product, and market entry choices.
- Execution Readiness – Equipped teams with actionable next steps rather than high-level theory.
The outcome was a set of founders better prepared to execute, communicate their strategy, and scale responsibly within competitive markets.
